Performance Bowsprit 1200 | 32-39 ft

The Performance PB1200 bowsprit is recommended for sailing yachts from 32 to 39 feet. It is designed to handle both Code and Gennaker setups, featuring a gennaker tack point at the very front and a dedicated mounting area for a Code furler just behind it.

This model can be configured with or without an integrated anchor holder system, accommodating most standard anchors up to 21 kg. To find the right configuration for your specific anchor brand and model, please see our guide on anchors in bow platforms.

Note on anchor choice: The 21 kg rating refers to the physical size class rather than a strict weight limit. While the bowsprit can physically support heavier loads, larger anchors are bulkier and may not fit or handle as seamlessly within the platform’s geometry.

For the under-deck support, two waterstay lengths are available: a standard 800 mm waterstay or an optional 1000 mm version (sold separately).

The PB1200 comes with a durable Accoya step surface. To keep deck space clear and ensure safe boarding, it can be equipped with a telescopic ladder housed in an under-deck casing, or used with optional hook ladders (both sold separately).

In terms of sail capacity, the structure is dimensioned for gennakers up to 115 m² or a Code 0 sail with a maximum load of 2500 kg.
