The DV25 Mini is a more compact version of our classic davit, featuring slightly shorter arms and smaller mounting plates for a streamlined installation.

Unique to Båtsystem, this davit boasts not only a sturdy construction and a classically minimalistic Scandinavian design, but also innovative engineering. Conventional davits are often fixed at an angle without movable joints, leaving the transom vulnerable to significant torsional forces. Båtsystem davits instead utilize counterbalancing lines as a standard feature, allowing for a load distribution without any torque at all. This design significantly alleviates strain on the mounting points and removes the need for internal hull reinforcement.

This comprehensive package includes two robust davit arms with a 25 mm tube dimension. Each arm is capable of handling a maximum load of 40 kg. Due to dynamic forces occurring during sailing, we do not recommend a heavier dinghy plus outboard than this, despite the fact that, statically, it would hold 80 kg in total with two arms.
